India won two medals in the men’s javelin throw at the 2026 Asian Games on 28 September. Yashvir Singh took silver with a best throw of 85.72 metres, while Rohit Yadav finished with bronze at 84.35 metres. Sri Lanka’s Rumesh Pathirage won gold with 88.55 metres.
The final was held at Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium in Nagoya. Rain made conditions difficult during the competition, but both Indian throwers finished on the podium.
