Accenture released its fourth-quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 results on 1 October 2026. Reuters reported that its shares rallied after a stronger-than-expected fiscal 2027 revenue forecast eased concerns about AI disrupting IT services demand.
For the quarter ended 31 August 2026, Accenture reported revenue of $18.7 billion, up 6% in US dollars and 7% in local currency from a year earlier. New bookings were $22.2 billion, up 4% in US dollars. Full-year revenue reached $74.2 billion.
For fiscal 2027, the company forecasts revenue growth of 3–6% in local currency. That is management’s outlook, not a completed-year result.
Reuters reported gains in the US-listed shares of Infosys and Wipro alongside Accenture’s rally. The Times of India also reported the positive reaction in Indian IT ADRs.
The interpretation is that investors saw Accenture’s outlook as an encouraging signal for technology-services demand. It does not establish the earnings performance of another company. US-listed ADR movements also differ from price changes in those companies’ Indian-listed shares.
