Why is the iPhone priced differently in India?
An iPhone's India MRP is not the US dollar price multiplied by the rupee. Import duty, GST, warranty/localisation, and the retailer's cut all sit on top. India-assembled models can narrow the gap, but they still do not match a US sticker price.
