How this is calculated

Percentage = CGPA × multiplier. The reverse is CGPA = percentage ÷ multiplier.

Questions

Is CGPA × 9.5 the official Indian formula?

No. Some boards have used a 9.5 multiplier in specific contexts, but universities and employers often use other scales. This tool never treats one multiplier as universal.
