**Anshul Kamboj is an Indian fast bowler from Haryana.** He made his ODI debut against West Indies in New Chandigarh on 3 October 2026 after being added to the squad as a replacement for the injured Prasidh Krishna.
Kamboj entered India’s playing XI for the third and final ODI against West Indies. Virat Kohli handed him his ODI cap before the match.
The call-up came after Prasidh Krishna was ruled out with a hamstring injury suffered during the second ODI in Guwahati.
Kamboj was part of Haryana’s Vijay Hazare Trophy-winning side in the 2023-24 season and took 17 wickets in 10 matches in that campaign.
He also made headlines in the Ranji Trophy in November 2024 by taking all 10 wickets in an innings against Kerala, becoming only the third bowler in Ranji Trophy history to achieve the feat.
Before his ODI debut, Kamboj had taken 56 wickets in 35 List A matches at an average of 22.41.
India needed a pace replacement after Prasidh Krishna’s injury. Kamboj had been playing for India A against Australia A and joined the senior squad in Chandigarh before the third ODI.
