# PM Kisan beneficiary status: check your instalment and eKYC online

Updated 25 October 2026. The official PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi portal has a Know Your Status service for registered farmers. It displays payment and account-credit information as well as financial-year-wise eKYC status. This page tells you where to check your own record, not a live list of everyone’s current payment amounts or a guarantee that an instalment has arrived.

Check PM-Kisan payment status step by step

1. Open the government website pmkisan.gov.in (opens in a new tab) directly. 2. In Farmers Corner, choose Know Your Status. 3. Enter the registration number associated with your PM-Kisan record. 4. Complete the captcha and any OTP sent to your registered mobile number. 5. Review the current record for the payment status, credited account, bank name, UTR/reference number, credit date and eKYC information, where provided.

You can also open the official Know Your Status page (opens in a new tab). Avoid sending registration numbers and OTPs to websites claiming to check eligibility on your behalf.

How to find a forgotten PM-Kisan registration number

If you cannot remember the number, the portal has Know Your Registration Number. Its current interface offers search using a mobile number or Aadhaar number, followed by verification. Use this government service rather than posting personal identifiers in WhatsApp groups. Once the registration number is recovered, return to Know Your Status.

Official registration lookup: pmkisan.gov.in/KnowYour_Registration.aspx (opens in a new tab).

What does eKYC status mean?

PM-Kisan's homepage states eKYC is mandatory for registered farmers. If your record shows eKYC as incomplete or pending, open the current eKYC service on the official website or use an authorised service centre/method offered by the department. Completing eKYC does not itself guarantee payment; land and scheme-eligibility checks still apply.

Payment pending, withheld or no record found?

An incomplete payment record can have different causes: registration errors, unresolved identity or bank details, pending verification, or a case reviewed against the programme's eligibility rules. The ministry notes that certain suspected ineligible cases can have benefits withheld until verification.

Check your status and the exact reason shown in the official portal rather than relying on a viral “all farmers paid today” claim. If the record appears wrong, use Farmers Corner → Helpdesk / Query Form or the listed point-of-contact tools for your situation.

PM-Kisan beneficiary list vs Know Your Status

Beneficiary List is a separate portal function for browsing the published list by the area options offered by the website. Know Your Status is the personal payment-status tool and can require OTP. Neither page should be confused with a third-party “next instalment date” prediction.

For any payment or instalment announcement, check the latest notice on pmkisan.gov.in. Never pay a processing agent for access to the government's status portal.
