How to unlink a BGMI social login without losing account access

Can you unlink Facebook or another login from BGMI?

Yes, but not every account qualifies. BGMI's official Help Center describes a social-account unlinking feature with specific conditions. You should check those before making a request, especially if you are replacing a phone or have lost access to one of your linked logins.

This guide concerns the unlinking mechanism described by BGMI. It is not a guaranteed hacked-account recovery method, and it cannot bypass ownership or login checks.

What are BGMI's unlink conditions?

According to the Help Center:

• Your game account must already be linked to two social network accounts. Only one can be unlinked.
• You cannot unlink the social account currently used to log in.
• The login channel you use must have been linked for at least 30 days.
• You must have logged in on the same device and in the same region for at least 15 days out of the past 30.

If you only have one social login, do not assume the unlink option will be available. If you changed device or region recently, the eligibility condition may also matter.

Where is the unlink option?

Check which account you used to sign in, which one you intend to remove, and whether you will still be able to log in after the change. Do not share login details or verification codes with anyone offering to “unlink your account faster.”

How long does unlinking take?

The Help Center says an unlink request takes effect when you first log in after seven days. It also says that logging in before that time with the account you requested to unlink cancels the application.

This is an important distinction: clicking unlink does not necessarily disconnect the account instantly. Avoid relying on an immediate removal, especially when changing devices, social accounts or login methods.

What if you've lost access to the linked account?

Do not assume unlinking will fix a missing social-login account. Start with the recovery options of the underlying platform and BGMI's official Help Center. The published unlink procedure requires an eligible, functioning login and enough account history.

If you believe another person has access to your login, secure the connected platform account and review its security settings. The Help Center warns elsewhere that sharing accounts is risky and that rule violations can affect the gaming account regardless of who used it.

1. Confirm two linked social accounts exist. 2. Identify the current login and the other linked account. 3. Confirm the current channel was linked at least 30 days ago. 4.
